The lastfew years have witnessed continuouspower shifts in the information structure oforganizations. As a result of theses changes, end-user computing (EUC) has been growing at a tremendous rate. This paper extensively discusses the threefunctions oflrformation Centers (lC) to supportEUCin organizations: training, technical support, andcontrol. A study was performedto seek the relationship between the three functions andEUesuccess. The results ofthe study indicate that ICs' ability to effectively deliver training and support to end-users significantly affects the user satisfaction and that providing the types ofsupport end-users prefer will result in a higher satisfaction level. Therefore, the education to the end-users on information systems plays a crucial role in the EUe success ofan organization. The contribution to practitioners and researchers are also discussed.
