Mission Statement

The Journal of Informatics Education Research (JIER) publishes high-quality research focused on information systems pedagogy and curricula. JIER’s major objective is to provide communication of knowledge that promotes excellence in information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) education, instruction, pedagogy, and curricula. Articles focused on best practices in IS/IT education and research on emerging technologies and issues with significant pedagogical or curricular implications are also published by JIER.
